Privacy notice
How Ignivara iQ Ltd handles the personal data submitted through this website.
Who we are
Ignivara iQ Ltd is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. Ignivara iQ Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 17357131, with its registered office at 4th Floor, Office 205, Regent Street, London W1B 4HB, England. Ignivara iQ Ltd is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office. If you have a question about this notice, or about data we hold on you, email enquiries@ignivaraiq.co.uk.
What we collect
The only personal data this website collects is what you choose to submit through the enquiry form on the Get in touch page: your name, your organisation, your email address, and whatever you write in the message field. Organisation is optional; the rest is needed to reply to you.
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts, so no other personal data is collected as you browse it.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and, if you choose to go ahead, to discuss and scope the work. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests — specifically, our interest in responding to enquiries from people who have chosen to contact us, which we do not believe is overridden by your interests or rights, since the data is limited to what you volunteer and is used only for the purpose you submitted it for. Where a conversation leads to a scoped engagement, some data may then be processed under the separate basis of performing that contract.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a client relationship are kept for 12 months from the date of your enquiry, then deleted. Data connected to an active or completed engagement instead follows the retention terms agreed as part of that engagement.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or use your data for marketing. No one outside Ignivara iQ Ltd sees it other than the processors needed to run this website and its enquiry form:
- Formspree, Inc., which receives your form submission and forwards it to us by email. Formspree acts as a data processor on our behalf.
- Google Fonts, which serves the two typefaces used on this site. Loading a web font means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which, like any web request, includes your IP address. No cookie is set and no other tracking takes place.
We hold no vendor relationships that involve reselling or profiling data, in keeping with how we work with clients.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- ask us to delete your data;
- restrict or object to how we use it; and
- request a copy of it in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@ignivaraiq.co.uk.
How to complain
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, we would like the chance to put it right first — email enquiries@ignivaraiq.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.
